You maybe wonder what Steam GUI is. Steam GUI is the easiest tool for hosting a counter strike source server. Here I will show you how to install it.
If you want to add addons and mods then go here.
1. Installing Steam GUI
Open Steam and press on the tools section. Now find Source Dedicated Server and double click on it, or
right click and press install.
Press Install instead of Launch Game as the picture says.
Now, when it is downloaded and installed just start it by clicking Launch Game.
Then, when you have started it, this box should appear:
Write your servers name in the Server Name box. And write your
RCON (Remote CONtrole) password in the RCON Password box. Then press Start Server.
After a while, while the server is loading, this box should appear:
Now you have a server on the internet! With this tool you can do whatever you want with your server. If you, for example want to change
the gravity to 200, just go to console and write "sv_gravity 200" without "".
